I have much to share...

but will keep the story of my absence for another day when I have more time to sort out my words.
The image below is from over a month ago but it was there on my desktop and made me smile this morning. (I have gone through several changes since it was taken and I will explain soon.)

A few minutes ago as I was sorting through the clutter of my desk I found the following quote and it made me stop, take a deep breath and settle down, down into myself. I felt the desire (and energy) for the first time in a long while to share, to reach out here and post.

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." ---Melody Beattie

Today I am grateful for the excitement Olivia had for going to school. Grateful for Kim, the teacher who will be taking care of her and for Kimberly, who came up to Olivia and stood by her side as I turned to leave.

Tricia - so glad to see your post today. We've met just once-by chance at Barnes and Noble. Since then I check in on your blog occasionally and have been thinking about you during your absence. I look forward to hearing more from you!

Look at the love on her face. Just look at that beautiful child. Her whole heart is right there in her face. And, Momma. It's all yours.

A fest for the eyes and our souls to see the look at that sweet Ms. O. Darling, darling, girl. How she loves her mama.
