Just A Glimpse...

....of a few of the things that I have been working on as I make my way through the crazy "to do" list from the previous post. I am determined to complete it all before I cut myself any slack. There just doesn't seem to be much time for the projects as the kitchen is still "undone", waiting for the boards to dry thoroughly. In the meantime I am still cooking our meals here as the stove is working but having to fill small tubs to wash the dishes in. I feel like a pioneer woman! Yesterday it took me an hour and a half to wash dishes. Now that is just a waste of time. Think of all the things I could have been doing instead. (sigh) I did have fun though as I had downloaded a few new songs onto the good ole Ipod...my fave is called--"you know i'm no good" by amy winehouse. it is song number 2 at the top of her homepage...click in the red bar....
The weather has been wonderful here and we have moved our home school out onto the porch and we are loving that!
All of this makes me think...Isn't the time that we carve out for ourselves to create or to do our heart's passion so precious?
A few links to share and then I am back to the porch to do a bit of Story of the World with Olivia. Then off on our nature walk.

This tutorial helped me so much! If you are "height challenged" as I am it is a must. :)

I just found this site. Looks like there's some cool stuff here: https://www.tophatdesignworks.com/index.php
and here:

and this is new to me --- http://www.artitudezine.com/

I will hopefully be making some time soon to go around visiting in blogland. I hope all is well with everyone.
