(cards by Louise Hay)

Thank you, each of you, for your thoughtful, kind comments and emails. Thank you for taking the time to reach out. I will forever treasure each one for in your words I found a little bit more strength to hold onto. You made it easy to share and I am grateful.

I am also reminded of this:

"Something opens our wings.
Something makes boredom and hurt disappear.
Someone fills the cup in front of us.
We taste only sacredness."
---Rumi

May your day be full of sweet surprises.

I just have to say that I admire you so deeply. Your strength in this new journey is awe inspiring. I also wanted to say that, aside from both of us being mixed media artists, we're also both homeschooling moms. I have a 20 year old son, a 19 year old son and a 15 year old daughter. All homeschooled from the get-go.

Would you care to exchange blog-links?

Tricia,
I've looked up to you since I first discovered your beauty that you share through your art and I always find something special burning deep and true when I read your words.

Now you have my full attention as I see your strength - silent or not - I know it is there :)

I want to share something new with you. I'm no longer a silentdreamer and have decided to open a new site called Blue Owl Designs. You can find me there at http://www.blueowldesigns.net okay?

God bless you my friend,
Valaine

Hello Tricia,
You have been my sweet surprise for today...I read your story, and cried...I have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old and both are my treasures...but I still find myself raising my voice at them when they don't listen...perhaps I should do more of the listening...you have opened my eyes and I have seen how every second is important...more important to be the best at what you do, and with the people who are around you...sorry for the lengthy message...I just wanted to tell you how you have touched our Life and hope you're strength and healing is blessed in these hard times for you.
Take care.
A longtime fan!
Char.

Something my doctor said to me,
"Don't put illness into your life, but put life into your illness." That helps me keep things in prospective. Blessings to you,

Hi Tricia-
I use Google reader for my fav blogs & I don't know why this post didn't show up until today - May 9th. But I just took it as a sign from God that you needed another prayer. May you be blessed with the strength and healing that you need.
