Gratitude

"Whatever you are waiting for--peace of mind, contentment, grace, the inner awareness of Simple Abundance--it will surely come, but only when you are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart." -----Sarah Ban Breathnach
Another piece for the round robin book. This time I used a transparency and a ledger page upon which I glued a butterfly and scribbled a bit about gratitude. I layered these on top of a fabric piece and a painted watercolor paper, adhering it all with black stitching.
May you see many things to be grateful for today.

This is really quite wonderful! I love the ledger page behind the girl. It is as if the writing are her thoughts, experiences, etc... like it is a window to her heart and soul.
