Luck

Today I start day one of a two week detox. Well, really 13 days. I am feeling very motivated this morning and I can only pray that this feeling will last. My reason for doing this are health related with extreme joint pain and headaches being the two biggest ailments I hope to be rid of.
OMG, I just had a strong feeling a panic wash over me! Two weeks! I will probably still be the one making the dinners and touching and smelling the food...
Ok....I am pulling myself together.
Deep breaths.
Positive self-talk.
I am going to do this.
Wishing you a lucky, healthy Sunday.

I've just finished my 12-day detox (Wild Rose). You'll feel so great and wonderful, proud of yourself! And Spring is one of the best times to do it because the body wants to get rid of stuff. Good luck :)

good luck with the detox! I am intersted to see if it helps your joint pain. I have arthritis and am looking into changing my diet to see if it will help at all.

It's often my family who saboutage my food choices. I'm down to two other family members in the home and both are old enough to buy food and bring it home, which they do. It's a constant battle - me cleaning the crap food out of the kitchen, them dragging it back in. ARGH.

Wishing you all the best with your detox! I'm not sure which type it is, but most are very efficient. I've done a few over the years, including one last year which consisted of 10 days of lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup ONLY! Remember to drink loads of water to flush out toxins and to take it easy when withdrawal symptoms occur. They will pass!

Funny thing. I have been motivated for many reasons to detox lately. And then, everywhere I go speaks of it.. A client went to a place in San Diego for a detox and talked to me about it for an hour...Maybe a sign for me too??? xxo
