This sketch, made yesterday, is for my friend, L.

She is going through a bunch of changes right now and I was thinking of her as I played with my new pens. (I am keeping notes on the pens and my likes and dislikes so that post is soon to come:))
I did the sketch with the fun gel pens and then took the paper over to my scanner and added text....actually first I had to erase some of my own handwriting that didn't look so hot and then I used the computer's type for the words in black.
Sometimes it is a hard thing to release what we know we should. But I think that when we do, good things will come. Getting rid of the old non-working things to make room for the blessings that are sure to come.
A happy weekend to all,

Okay, I just sent you an email...tell me how bizarre this is that I come to your blog and see your wonderful sketch work? Message received--even though it was meant for someone else. :D

OOoh, I like this piece. I really like anything that has someone's sketches in them.

Good stuff!

Hi, I came here via "Inspire Me Thursday". I like your drawing, so simple with just two colors, and the related sentiments. It's nice to hear about the individual artistic process. Look forward to hearing about your new pens!
