"serendipity" was done on watercolor paper. 4 x 4 inchesi painted a pink background with acrylics and then used my french writing rubber stamp (stampin' up!) with black ink. i tore a piece of sheet music and some other pink patterned paper and adhered them. i cut out the image of the girl and to her i added wings (also a stampin' up stamp) which had been stamped on a pale pink paper and cut out. i used a white paint pen to highlight areas on her dress and to give her a necklace and a band of pearls in her hair. the flower stamp is from magenta and the "serendipity" stamp is by hampton art stamps. i also added some glitter, eyelets, ribbon, wire and a vintage chandelier prism to complete.
very fun. i enjoyed the pink theme for the week and think i will continue on with the pink for a while!
