kissing the button peddler

Oh, how I LOVE found poems! I love the surprise and the serendipitious connecting of words into phrases that my hand and brain wouldn't have done with just pen and paper. This one was shared with my writing group last night and I couldn't resist sharing it here as well. Blessings,

Tricia, this is my first visit to your site. I came because you were so kind as to comment on my blog - thank you for that. I love this found poem you did. It is inspiring me to try my hand at it. I've just barely cracked the surface of your blog and still I find many treasures here, not the least of which is a thankful heart. I'm so glad to tune in when things are going well for you blood-wise. That is a shot of supreme happiness, I'm sure. Your artwork is a delight, from the moon-faced magician, to Suzanna, to Cassiopeia and her sister (with a promised sequel), right on to Tess -- I find that I totally resonate with your art spirit. Just wanted to thank you for visiting my blog and let you know how much I'm enjoying yours. I'll end with a prayer that Sabine is continuing to heal. I'll be back to catch up with you later. Thanks, sallyt

sally, thank you so much, truly, for your visit, kind words and well wishes. please do try the found poem. it has been incredibly rewarding for me and a few others i know that have tried it. and i hope you post your poem when you do. i'll be checking in either way to your blog as i also feel a great connection to your words and art. big hugs to you this lovely sunday morning.
ps--our sabine cat is almost back to herself. not quite as wild and more content to be indoors which i am enjoying while it lasts.
