today i am singing...

isn't it a wonderful feeling to be back on your feet after weeks of feeling yucky? don't even the smallest things seem grand?
for a week headaches and dizziness and this horrible nausea were my daily companions. just one day, out of the blue i was sick. but not any more...today is day four of feeling better. thankfully.
i actually broke down and went to see a medical doctor and for those who know me know that i have a doctor fear. i was afraid that something was really wrong with me. i gave quite a few friends a fright...a lot of sobbing over this illness, whatever it was. the blood work came back all ok. hmmm?
i am just glad to be back on track.
i even tried painting last night, deciding to temporarily abandon the laptop and able's story. it had been a while and sadly, i felt like a stranger in my art room.
i decided to start simply and with a journal page, feeling as if i am still searching for a painting style that suits me and being pretty ok with that. it is all a wonderful adventure after all...perhaps more time with my paints is what i need.
i hope you all out there are doing well and are creating happily and not rushing about.
well, my dirty house needs cleaning....
oh wait...i almost forgot!---why am i going around the house acting silly and singing?
silly me---i do have news. months ago i sent in five pieces to somerset studio magazine for their "green" challenge. today in the mail i received the january issue and all five were there! this is my first time in somerset studio...yay! here are some pics of the art...
i am amazed at how wonderfully the photographers presented the pieces. thank you somerset!
