****Monday's Child --- Drawing! ****

To find out what day of the week you were born on you can click here.

I have decided that this collage shouldn't stay here with me. I think I need to jump on the wonderful give-a-way bandwagon. So, if you leave a comment...oh, let's say, giving this sweetie a name...then I will put all the names in a bowl and have Olivia draw a winner on Monday the 19th. In the meantime I will be working on a pack of paper goodies to send along with her.

Also, I have been asked by several people to share some knowledge on working with transparencies. Although I feel like maybe I know little that would be helpful (I am just a beginner myself) I have a plan to work on a collage using a transparency this weekend and photograph the stages and share everything I do know. I am excited about this....my first tutorial of sorts!

Monday gets its name from the Moon, which in turn gets its name from the Old English Germanic Moon god Mona. I think her name should be Mona!

It's a beautiful collage, I hope I win!

Tricia.....this is gorgeous. I'm not good with names but for some reason 'Dottie' jumped out to me and then i was saying it over and over and started to not even sound like a name, lol.

p.s. thank you for you sweet comments. I am feeling much better and in a few days will be 100%. Hope all is well with you and that the little one hasn't been sick again.....it's not fun. talk to you later.

This is a beautiful piece. I like the name Mona for her as well. Please add my name to "the hat". Thanks, JenC.

First of all...I can't wait for the tutorial using the transparencies.
And second of all....I'm loving that I get to put my name in the hat for a drawing....
My Grandma is Ruby and she was the love of my life and passed away 19 years ago when I was pregnant with my first baby. Basic Grey has a new paper line out called, "Stella Ruby"....so that's my name for this little doll face !!!!

When I look at this beautiful piece and young girl, I think of Beth. That's the name that comes to me.

She is so beautiful! I love the collage...the colors....the softness...everything.
Now...I would name her Grace...after my grandma Grace...who loved the color "yella"!
She was a corker...my grandma Grace!
Could I be so lucky????

BTW...is she printed on fabric????

I think an old fashioned name like Mary Belle suits this little girl. It's my grandmother's name and I've always liked it. Beautiful work, I hope you pick me!

I know her name must be Millicent---and she belongs right here in my house!!! She is lovely and I would love to be the lucky winner of your drawing. -shari

I was born on a Monday - in fact it happened to be Labor Day....a perfectly fitting day to give birth. So my choice of title for you beautiful piece of artwork is "Labor of Love."

Hi there. I'm deciding between 2 names: I think I'm going to go with Angelina. The other name I was going to pick was Viola.

I can't wait to see who wins.
