George

George and Birdie Before the Party
collage on Bingo card.
I named him "George" but really he is Kelly's great-great grandpa Wade Woolridge. I imagine he was an interesting fellow, something in his eyes tells me that. The only thing I really know about him is how he died and what led to his death and how it all started when he responded to an ad in a Lonely Hearts Club paper.
Wade began mail correspondence with a lady in New Jersey. (He was in Virginia.) He fell head over heels and it didn't take long for him to propose marriage. It was arranged that he travel north for the wedding. (This would have been his second.) But the marriage was not to be. Poor Wade was robbed and murdered by her two sons and buried in the barn underneath the pig trough! The boys were eventually caught and it turned out that he wasn't the first gentleman they had done this to and the mother was the mastermind of the whole thing. Crazy stuff!
