My best suggestion is that when you are ready to remove the image make sure you dip your finger in water and apply it to the paper... get it really wet... let the saturate the paper..the transfer paper will sometimes just slide off leaving your image behind... OH! before the water step keep the image on the surface weighted for at least 15 minutes, longer if you can stand it!

This piece is beautiful... even if it didn't transfer well you ended up with a wonderful altered photo! I think your accident may become a technique!

I guess I'll have to wait a couple days to see more work from you :(

Sorry about the long post... but I hope it was helpful.

Have fun this weekend!

Brandie

PS Okay... one more thing... You mentioned you used Hot press watercolor paper. Do you like it? I haven't tried it yet.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6931290902351196173.post-46630795657155066622007-02-22T00:21:00.000-04:002007-02-22T00:21:00.000-04:00This is a really beautiful piece!!! love it :) x...This is a really beautiful piece!!! love it :) xo!! ~BellaIzabella Bluehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16409919451535724322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6931290902351196173.post-46355973452636878762007-02-21T23:25:00.000-04:002007-02-21T23:25:00.000-04:00This came out G R E A T !(hope that headache goes ...This came out G R E A T !

(hope that headache goes away....so sorry !)One Crabapplehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01136787629837491514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6931290902351196173.post-11524848065905354782007-02-21T21:15:00.000-04:002007-02-21T21:15:00.000-04:00This is a really lovely work! I havemt tried ink jet transfers. just photo copied gel meiums and acetone. I have read about ink jet transparency transfers, but havent tried as of yet. It is very frustrating to have transfers not work out, but I end up doing what you have, just using the actual copy. Again, beautiful!

www.irisheyesart.blogspot.comKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18215032120184620736noreply@blogger.com
